The most iconic broadcast call in Dynamo history came on August 20, 2011 against Real Salt Lake.

Fighting to stay in the playoff race late in the season, the Dynamo rallied twice to tie the game after going a down a goal. Fabian Espindola scored early in the 7th minute, but Brian Ching responded two minutes after the start of the second half. RSL pulled ahead again in the 60th minute, but Bobby Boswell headed in a Brad Davis free kick nine minutes later.

Homegrown midfielder Alex Dixon entered the match as a substitute in the 80th minute as the Dynamo pressed for a crucial three points at home. It looked as if the teams would each go home with a point, until a Davis cross in the third minute of stoppage time was headed away by Chris Schuler.

The clearance fell directly to Dixon atop the right corner of the penalty area. Dixon dribbled past a pair of RSL defenders and let loose a left-footed shot 19 yards from goal that floated past goalkeeper Nick Rimando that nestled into the far side of the net with 92:56 on the clock. The official had determined there would be a minimum of three minutes.
