After captaining the Dynamo to their 1-0 win over the Philadelphia Union on the weekend and the defense's fourth straight shutout at BBVA Compass Stadium, defender DaMarcus Beasley has been named to MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week for Week 17.
The outside back made six interceptions and two tackles on the night, but still got up and made a difference in the attacking third.
