DaMarcus Beasley and the United States look to get back on track in World Cup qualifying as they take on Alberth Elis, Boniek García, Romell Quioto and Honduras in San Pedro Sula this afternoon (4:30 p.m. | beIN Sports, NBC Universo).

The U.S. (2-3-2, 8 points) and Honduras (2-3-2, 8 points) come into the match tied on points for third place in the Hex, though the Americans hold the tiebreaker with a +1 goal differential compared to Honduras' -7. Much of that difference is thanks to a 6-0 win by the U.S. in March over Honduras. The top three teams in the Hex earn spots at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. The fourth place finisher advances to a playoff against the fifth place team from Asia.

Also in action tonight is defender Adolfo Machado and Panama (1-2-4, 7 points) as they host last-placed Trinidad & Tobago (1-6-0, 3 points) at 9 p.m. Panama, currently in fifth place, would jump into fourth place with a win tonight.
