Romell Quioto scored for Honduras but Bobby Wood tied things up for the United States as the two teams drew 1-1 on Tuesday night in San Pedro Sula.

The Dynamo forward put the hosts on the board first as he blew past the U.S. defense in the 27th minute and curled a shot off the inside of the far post. In the two qualifying matches for Honduras, both Quioto and Alberth Elis tallied a goal while Quioto also had an assist. The Americans clawed back to get a point in the 85th minute as Bobby Wood finished a scramble in front of goal.

All four current Dynamo players – Quioto, Elis, Boniek García and DaMarcus Beasley – saw action in Tuesday's match, while three more former Dynamo players were also involved (Geoff Cameron for the U.S., Alexander López and Carlo Costly for Honduras). The draw moved both the U.S. and Honduras to 9 points in the Hex with two games to play.

Both teams moved down a spot, however, as Panama moved into third place with a 3-0 win over Trinidad & Tobago to give them 10 points. Defender Adolfo Machado was an unused substitute after playing 90 minutes against Mexico on Friday. The U.S. sits in fourth place with a better goal differential than Honduras. The USMNT finishes the Hex with matches against Panama and Trinidad & Tobago, while Honduras still has Costa Rica and Mexico on their schedule.
