HOUSTON (July 31, 2026) – Houston Dynamo 2 goalkeeper Pedro Cruz will join El Paso Locomotive FC in the USL Championship on loan for the remainder of the 2026 season, both teams announced today.
Cruz joined Dynamo 2 on a full transfer ahead of the 2025 season, and has now totaled 37 appearances, nine clean sheets and 152 saves. This year, the shot stopper recorded four shutouts and 48 saves in the team's undefeated start to the season.
The 22-year-old has been called up to the first team three times on short-term loans last season for MLS matches versus LAFC and the Portland Timbers, and a Leagues Cup match against Mazatlán F.C., where he made his first team debut.
