HOUSTON (Feb. 28, 2026) – Houston Dynamo 2 signed forward Alan Aparecido Martins Ferreira and defender Vinicius Rodrigues da Silva on loan for the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season with options to buy, the Club announced today.
Both arrive to Houston from Brazil, with Martins coming from Comercial Futebol Clube Tietê, while Silva arrives from Associação Ferroviária de Esportes.

Both players fit the profiles we are targeting – young, driven talents with the capacity to grow within our environment. Dynamo 2 plays a critical role in bridging potential to performance, and we look forward to accelerating their development within our system.”
Martins joins Dos from the Comercial Futebol Clube Tietê youth ranks, where he made his mark at both the U-17 and U-20 levels. With the U-17 side, the young Brazilian made nine appearances and scored three goals in 2023 before joining the U-20 squad in 2024. Since then, the winger has recorded 27 appearances at the U-20 level, while scoring four goals, including a late match-winning goal to complete a brace in a 2-1 victory over Criciúma Esporte Clube on Jan. 10, 2026.
Silva joins the team after spending much of his youth career in Brazil, with Ferroviária and Séria A giants SE Palmeiras and São Paulo Futebol Clube. Silva first rose through the ranks at the São Paulo Academy, featuring for the club’s U-15 side in his final year before joining Ferroviária in 2023.
The 19-year-old became a regular for Ferroviária’s U-17 squad in his first year with the club, making 24 appearances in 2023 and helping lead the team reach the quarterfinals of the Campeonato Paulista U-17. He scored three goals that season, including a brace in a 5-0 victory over São Carlos Futebol Clube on June 10. He also made appearances for the Ferroviária U-20 squad in 2024, playing in six matches before going on loan to Palmeiras last season.
