HOUSTON (May 29, 2025) – Houston Dynamo 2 travel to the state capital on Friday, May 30, to face Austin FC II for the second time this season. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT at Parmer Field, and fans can stream the action live via MLS Season on Apple TV.

The in-state rivals met earlier this season in Houston, where Dos earned a 2-1 victory over Austin at SaberCats Stadium. Forward Exon Arzú netted his third goal of the season in the 23rd minute, while Dynamo Academy midfielder Enrique Correa added his second of the year in the 77th minute.

One lineup note for Friday’s fixture is that forward Jordy Burbano will miss the match after receiving a red card in Houston’s last match versus North Texas SC.

Houston currently sits fourth in the Western Conference with 17 points and a 5-4-1 (WLD) record.

Dynamo 2 are coming off a 2-1 road defeat to North Texas on May 18 that saw forward Stephen Annor net his second goal of the season. Despite the result, Dynamo Dos still holds the upper hand in the all-time series against the FC Dallas affiliate with a 5-3-3 (WLD) record.

Three Dynamo Academy players that play on Dynamo 2 returned from international duty earlier this week. Midfielders Lukas Bruegmann and Mattheo Dimareli are back in Houston after reporting to training camp with the U-16 U.S. Boys’ National Team in Argentina and Uruguay. Forward David Garcia also returned from international duty with the Venezuelan U-17 National Team, scoring two goals across five appearances in the Canteras de América tournament.

Austin II enter Friday’s match sitting 12th in the Western Conference with 12 points and a 2-3-4 (WLD) record and are coming off a 1-1 home draw versus Minnesota United FC 2. Their second win of the year came in Matchweek 10 versus Ventura County FC, where Austin earned a 1-0 victory behind a goal from Bryant Farkarlun.
