Leagues Cup and Shell Energy Stadium announced that the Leagues Cup 2023 Round of 16 match between Tigres UANL and Rayados de Monterrey tonight is sold out. More than 20,000 fans are expected for the Clásico Regio in Houston.
The game, which will start at 9:00 pm CT, is a Round of 16 matchup of the historic official Concacaf competition between all LIGA MX and Major League Soccer clubs .
The Clásico Regio, as this meeting between the two teams from Nuevo León, Mexico is known, is one of LIGA MX’s biggest rivalries. This edition of the Clásico Regio is the first time the match is played in an official Concacaf tournament outside of Mexico.
Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. local for all fans, who are invited to arrive early. Fans are encouraged to review Shell Energy Stadium’s bag and security policies in advance of arriving to the venue.
