Our five Dash players are staying busy in Australia’s W-League this offseason. Midfielder Sofia Huerta and forward Veronica Latsko’s Sydney FC remain at the top of the table for the third straight week after downing Ari Romero and Perth Glory FC 3-1 last week. Both Romero and Huerta played the full match. Defender Amber Brooks put in a full shift for Adelaide United in a slim 1-0 loss to Melbourne City FC.

Meanwhile, midfielder Haley Hanson and the Melbourne Victory spent their bye week in Korea competing in the inaugural AFC Women’s Club Championship. The Victory conceded two matches but pulled a 1-1 draw with Chinese side Jiangsu Suning. Hanson played in all three matches for the Victory.

Coming up this weekend, Hanson and the Victory return to Australia to take on the Western Sydney Wanderers on Friday, December 6 at 11 p.m. CDT. Romero and Perth Glory host the Newcastle Jets on Saturday, December 7 at 5:15 a.m. The weekend wraps up with Huerta and Latsko’s Sydney FC squaring off against Melbourne City FC on Saturday, December 7 at 11:00 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
