Kid Captain Program

After being unable to host honorary team members for Kick Childhood Cancer night in 2021, the Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash both selected a Honorary Kid Captain for the occasion in 2022. Sawyer, a former MD Anderson Cancer Center patient, was able to visit the Dynamo training facility and walked out with the team for their September 10th match against Sporting Kansas City. For the Dash, Noble from Heroes for Kids created a special bond with the players in her visit to Houston Sports Park. Not only did Noble walk out the Dash on their Kick Childhood Cancer night, but she returned to captain the side in their inaugural playoff mach in October.
