Houston Dash and PTS Media Announce Broadcast Partnership for 2024 Season

HOUSTON (April 12, 2024)- The Houston Dash announced today that PTS Media will stream the remainder of the home matches for the 2024 season in Spanish across the Deportes Nation digital platforms. The agreement begins with Friday’s match against the Washington Spirit at 7 p.m. CT at Shell Energy Stadium.

This is the first time Dash matches will be available to fans in Spanish during the regular season. Fans can follow the action on the Deportes Nation website, and the Deportes Nation app. Coverage includes a 30-minute pregame show plus a 30-minute postgame show that will feature Dash players and staff.

PTS Media has produced sporting events for more than three decades and have been at the forefront of Spanish language coverage in the United States. They have produced broadcasts for premier youth tournaments, college athletic departments and professional sports teams in the southwest region and recently expanded their portfolio by adding the Houston Roughnecks of the United Football League. The broadcast team features Daniela Rodriguez, who will serve as the play-by-play commentator. Rodriguez is a 20-year veteran of the sports industry and previously served as the commentator on the official Houston Dynamo Spanish broadcasts that aired on TeleXitos from 2019 to 2022. Rodriguez covered the 2012 London Olympics for Telemundo and 2010 FIFA Men’s World Cup in South Africa for ESPN Deportes. She has also covered the National Football League and soccer leagues across North America for NBC Universo, NBC and ESPN.

Alex Parra, a sports journalist that has covered major sporting events for the last three decades, joins the team as a match analyst. Parra is also a veteran broadcaster and served as the Spanish-language commentator for the Houston Rockets for nine seasons and most recently led the Spanish broadcast of Houston Dynamo games that aired on TeleXitos from 2019 to 2022. He also served as the executive producer and host of the first official Spanish language broadcast team of the Houston Astros beginning in 2006 and played a key role in developing the first daily ESPN Deportes Radio program in Houston.

The duo will return to Shell Energy Stadium on May 5 when the Dash host the Kansas City Current at noon CT. Tickets for the match are available on SeatGeek.
