HOUSTON (Sept. 5, 2026) - The Houston Dash signed defender Jordan Brewster for the 2026 season, the team announced today. Brewster will be eligible for selection on Sunday as the Dash face the Orlando Pride at 6 p.m. CT at Inter.Co Stadium.
“We are excited to welcome Jordan to the team at an important point in the season,” Dash President of Women’s Soccer, Angela Hucles Mangano said. “Her time with AFC Toronto and Club América has allowed her to develop in two distinct professional environments and gain experience competing at a high level. We believe those experiences will serve her well as she takes the next step in her career with the Dash.”
The 26-year-old joins the Dash after starting the year with AFC Toronto in Canada’s Northern Super League. She appeared in five matches for Toronto and started three games. Her last appearance was a 77-minute shift in a 2-0 victory over Halifax Tides FC on Aug. 23.
“I’m excited to join the Dash and become part of a group that has consistently shown it can compete and find results,” Brewster said. “I’m coming to Houston ready to contribute and help the team build on what it has accomplished so far this season.”
Brewster began her professional career in 2023 with Swedish club Kristianstads DFF. She tallied 21 appearances for Kristianstads across all competitions that year. The defender signed with Bay FC ahead of its inaugural season in the National Women’s Soccer League and helped the team qualify for the postseason in 2024. The Ohio native split time with Bay FC and Club America in Mexico in 2025. She appeared in 12 games for the Mexican club and reached the final of the 2025 Liga MX Femenil Apertura.
The defender played collegiately at West Virginia University and left the program as one of the most decorated players in team history. She finished with a program-record 101 career starts and played more than 9,000 minutes for the Mountaineers. Brewster scored the game-winning goal in the 2022 Big 12 title game to claim the conference championship. She was a five-time All-Big 12 selection and a three-time United Soccer Coaches All-American.
At the international level, Brewster represented the United States across the U-14 to U-20 age groups and served as an alternate for the U-20 squad at the 2018 Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship in Trinidad & Tobago.
