HOUSTON (Sept. 2, 2026) - The Houston Dash signed midfielder Peyton Parsons to a short-term contract, the team announced today.
Parsons joins the Dash after beginning her professional career with Tampa Bay Sun FC in the Gainbridge Super League. She earned seven appearances and one start for Tampa Bay during the 2025/2026 season. The 22-year-old also joined Seattle Reign FC earlier this year for preseason prior to signing with Tampa Bay.
The Denver, Colorado native played collegiately at Texas Tech University, where she scored 17 goals and tallied 13 assists for the Red Raiders from 2022-2025. Parsons was named to the 2024 and 2025 Big 12 First Team All-Conference teams and scored seven game-winning goals in her final two seasons for the program.
Parsons will be eligible for selection on Sunday, Sept. 6 as the Dash face the Orlando Pride.
