The Houston Dash have traded defender Haley Hanson to the Orlando Pride, the club announced today.

Orlando will send Houston $75,000 dollars in allocation money as well as a 2023 NWSL Draft second round pick the club acquired from OL Reign in exchange for Hanson.

“We are thankful for the contributions Haley made to this club and throughout her time here in Houston,” Houston Dash president Jessica O’Neill said. “She is a phenomenal player and an even better person. We wish her the best in the next part of her career with Orlando.”

Hanson appeared in 15 matches and made 11 starts for the Dash in 2022. The defender also tallied an assist in Houston’s win over Portland on May 21.
