HOUSTON (Oct. 18, 2026) – The Houston Dash dropped points at home against the Orlando Pride following a 2-1 loss at Shell Energy Stadium this afternoon. Houston generated its most dangerous opportunities in the second half and cut the deficit in half following a corner kick from forward Kat Rader in the 55th minute. The ball found midfielder Danny Colaprico in the center of the box, where she finished with a one-touch, left-footed effort from inside the six-yard box for her second goal of the season.

Orlando doubled its lead in the 31st minute after a long ball was played down the middle of the field to rookie Solai Washington, who finished the chance for her first goal of the year.

Dash captain Jane Campbell was well positioned to deny Brazilian playmaker Marta in the opening minutes of the match. The Brazilian playmaker took a corner kick that was headed towards the inside of the far post, but Campbell was well positioned to deny the effort.

Houston recorded its first shot of the match in the fifth minute after Rader fired an effort from outside the box, but Orlando goalkeeper Cosette Morché made the save.

The Dash responded moments later after forward Clarissa Larisey recovered a long ball from Campbell and fired an effort from distance, but her shot went wide of the target. Larisey returned to the starting lineup for the first time since Aug. 19, and the forward has made key contributions throughout the year. Earlier this season she came off the bench to score a brace against the North Carolina Courage on Aug. 16.

Moments later midfielder Maggie Grahamrecovered the ball following a run from Rader to create space for a shot but, Morché was well positioned to make the save.
