Houston, the city that has such a special place in my heart. It’s really all I know when it comes to my career. I can’t imagine being anywhere else.
This is where I started my career, a rookie right out of college.
This is where I came home, fresh off a season in France.
Both times, I was welcomed with open arms by you, the fans. To have people in my corner win or lose is something truly special. Talking with all of you after the game as I make my way around the field feels like catching up with old friends.
This past season was historic for us, but there’s so much more we can accomplish.
We can only go up from here.
There’s a core group returning for 2023, myself included. We became really close over the course of this season. It’s a really special group.
That’s what excites me the most about coming back: my teammates.
I can’t wait to be back with them. I can’t wait to keep growing, keep making playoffs, and hopefully winning it all for the city.
Houston is my home away from home.
