The Houston Dash signed goalkeeper Liz Beardsley to a short-term contract ahead of the 2025 season. Beardsley spent the last two seasons at the University of Maryland, where she started every match of her senior campaign. She recorded five clean sheets and 74 saves in her final year at Maryland, finishing her collegiate career with 11 clean sheets and 141 total saves.
She began her collegiate career at the University of Georgia in 2021, earning 15 appearances and recording six shutouts with 35 saves. Beardsley was also named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll during her freshman season.
