Ryan has won four trophies since making her professional debut in 2021 with Portland Thorns FC. She was drafted with the No. 6 overall pick by the Thorns and won the Women’s International Champions Cup Champion and NWSL Shield in her rookie season. The forward helped Portland lift the 2022 NWSL Championship prior to joining Gotham for the 2023 season. The TCU alum claimed her second NWSL title with Gotham in 2023, scoring a goal in the quarterfinals against the North Carolina Courage.
The 26-year-old was named to the 2024 NWSL Best XI Second Team and finished with five goals and six assists last season. Ryan has appeared in 98 regular season games since making her debut in 2021, scoring 12 goals and tallying 14 assists.
During the 2025 season, Ryan led the team in goals scored with four and in shots on goal with 18. She started all 24 matches, logging 2,160 minutes. The forward anchored Houston’s attack, tying for the team lead in assists with three. The TCU alum also earned the Golden Boot and Newcomer of the Year honors.
At the international level, Ryan earned her first U.S. Women’s National Team cap on October 24, 2024. She joined the USWNT for the 2025 SheBelieves Cup, where she tallied an assist in a 2-0 victory over Colombia at Shell Energy Stadium. Ryan scored her first international goal in a 4-0 win over the Republic of Ireland on June 29, 2025, and added her second just a few days later on July 2, 2025.
