Armando Vasquez Jr. and his family have been Houston Dynamo FC Season Ticket Members for 15 years and counting.
“My dad has been a Season Ticket Member since 2007, and I joined him in 2012,” said the lifelong Houstonian. “It is a family tradition that I would like to pass on later in life. My favorite part of the gameday experience is being able to enjoy my favorite sport with my dad and watch our boys in orange perform.”
Vasquez said his gameday traditions include listening to El Batallón songs on the road as they head to Shell Energy Stadium, and of course, wearing the home team’s colors is a must. He also loves to encourage other fans to attend Dynamo matches.
“The atmosphere at every game is amazing,” he said. “It’s family friendly, so anyone will have fun. Overall, the Dynamo are an awesome team and will soon be champions once again.”
When it comes to a favorite Dynamo memory, Vasquez’s mind instantly went to one place.
“It was hosting and winning the U.S. Open Cup final in 2018,” he said. “Watching my team win a championship for the first time in my young life was amazing.”
Vasquez mentioned several benefits he enjoys as a Season Ticket Member, including exclusive events, free tickets, payment plans, ease of moving tickets to another match, and without a doubt, getting to work with an awesome sales representative like Jose Molina.
One day, Vasquez also hopes to plan a theme night at Shell Energy Stadium.
“I would love to see a Pokémon theme night, where every player would wear a patch of their favorite Pokémon,” he said. “Then after the game, it would be fun to join the players to battle on Pokémon Go.”
