Club Santos Laguna has announced its 20-player travelling roster for Saturday’s BBVA Compass Dynamo Charities Cup against the Houston Dynamo.

Santos Laguna, reigning Mexican League champions and five-time Liga MX winners, will feature captain Carlos Izquierdoz, forward Javier Orozco and midfielder Néstor Calderón. Orozco, 27, scored four goals in the first leg of the Liga MX 2015 Clausura final and is the all-time scorer in CONCACAF Champions League history with 24 goals. Calderón led Santos Laguna with six goals last season.

Santos Laguna is the seventh international opponent to face the Dynamo in the Dynamo Charities Cup, following Aston Villa (England), Stoke City (England), Valencia (Spain), Bolton Wanderers (England), Club Deportivo Aguila (El Salvador) and CF Monterrey (Mexico). Proceeds from the match will benefit the “Building a Better Houston” initiative, a campaign led by Dynamo Charities and BBVA Compass to make improvements in Houston’s East End. The annual game funds Junior Achievement scholarships and the Business of Sports program for high school students in the fall.

Saturday’s BBVA Compass Dynamo Charities Cup will kick off at 7 p.m. CT at BBVA Compass Stadium. For more information, or to purchase tickets, call 713-276-GOAL or click here.
