The Houston Dash acquired the Boston Breakers’ natural second-round draft pick in the 2018 NWSL College Draft from Seattle Reign FC for Lydia Williams, the club announced today.
Williams joined Houston prior to the 2016 season and finished with three clean sheets over 22 games with the Dash. The Australian international will join Seattle prior to Sunday’s match between the two clubs as the Dash return to NWSL action. Houston’s match against the North Carolina Courage was postponed last Sunday due to the damage caused by Hurricane Harvey.
Seattle acquired the draft pick from Boston in a trade announced earlier today.
