The Houston Dash have re-signed midfielder Brittany Bock, the club announced today. Per team and league policy, terms of the deal were not released.
Bock, 27, was the team’s first pick in the 2014 NWSL Expansion Draft. She started in the season opener vs. Portland Thorns FC but was substituted in the 23rd minute with a left ACL injury. The central midfielder underwent ACL reconstructive surgery on April 25, missing the remainder of the season.
Despite not making another appearance on the field, Bock continued to have a positive presence off it and was named Humanitarian of the Year by the club. The Notre Dame product is expected to make a full recovery for the 2015 season.
