Houston Dynamo acquire second-round pick in 2019 MLS SuperDraft from D.C. United

The Houston Dynamo acquired a second-round pick (No. 33 overall) in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, presented by adidas, from D.C. United for a player to be named later, the club announced today.  


D.C. United acquired the second-round pick and additional considerations from the New England Revolution earlier today in exchange for their natural second-round pick in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft.


The addition of this pick gives the Dynamo three selections in the 2019 SuperDraft. They selected Sam Junqua with eighth overall pick in the first round and also have the 56th overall pick in Round Three, which will take place via a teleconference on Monday, Jan. 14.
