The Houston Dynamo donated new soccer equipment to Missouri City Middle School’s soccer program on Friday as part of MLS WORKS’ Every Save Makes a Difference program.

Dynamo defender David Horst visited the Missouri City soccer team on Friday to present them with their new soccer equipment as well as hosting a small soccer clinic for the team.

MLS WORKS, Allstate, Univision Deportes and the Dynamo joined together to provide opportunity for underserved youth in Houston. A donation of $500 was made for every save recorded by a Dynamo goalkeeper during Univision’s Viernes de Futbol broadcasts. Missouri City Middle School was selected by the Dynamo to receive the funds generated from games played on Friday, April 15 and Friday, July 8. A total of $1,500 was raised to purchase equipment requested by the school.
