With the 2022 season fast approaching and preseason kicking into high gear this week, players, staff and fans alike are starting to feel the excitement build in the City of Fútbol as we all look ahead to February 27.Â
This week, beginning Wednesday and continuing through Sunday, Houston Dynamo FC will host five days of online interactive events with players, coaches and Dynamo Alumni as part of a first ever Kickoff Week. Â
The virtual events will include roundtable-style Q&A sessions with players, coaches and former players every evening, with a series of player takeovers on Dynamo social media accounts and Instagram Live sessions in the afternoons. Â
The festivities kick off a Facebook Live broadcast featuring Dynamo TV personalities Glenn Davis and Eddie Robinson on Wednesday afternoon live from the Club’s internal media day. Fans will hear from several Dynamo players during breaks from their shooting schedule as they snap head shots, action shots, the in-stadium hype video and much more.Â
On Wednesday evening there will be a special Members-Only Q&A for Houston Dynamo 365 Season Ticket Members hosted by Univision Radio personality and new Dynamo Spanish Radio analyst Cesar Procel. Dynamo 365 Members will receive a link to register for the Q&A in their weekly Dynamo Member News e-newsletter. Â
Robinson will host a player roundtable open to all fans later Wednesday evening from 7:30-8:30pm, with Davis hosting a Q&A with the Dynamo coaching staff on Thursday evening from 6:30-7:30pm. Dynamo Spanish TV host Alex Parra will host a player roundtable exclusively in Spanish on Friday evening from 6:30-7:30pm. Â
Over the weekend, Davis will host another player roundtable on Saturday afternoon from 4-5pm, and the festivities wrap up with a special Dynamo Alumni panel discussion hosted by Dynamo Legend Bobby Boswell on Sunday from 4-5pm. Â
