Houston Dynamo Football Club (HDFC) announced today that Jeff Stewart has joined the organization as the chief revenue officer. He is the fourth front office executive hired by the Club since the arrival of majority owner and chairman, Ted Segal in 2021.

“Jeff Stewart will be a game changer for the Club as we continue to build value for fans, partners and stakeholders,” Club chief operating officer, Jessica O’Neill said. “This national search led us to the talent that was right across the street and Jeff’s relationships in the community, along with his understanding of the market will be impactful. We’re elated to welcome Jeff and his family to HDFC.”

Stewart will oversee ticket and partnership sales and service teams focused on revenue retention and growth for the Dynamo and Dash, as well as special event sales for corporate and private events at Shell Energy Stadium. Alongside Club leadership, Jeff will drive new initiatives around Shell Energy Stadium, Houston Sports Park and HDFC headquarters opening in EaDo this summer.

“This is a thrilling time to join the Club and help execute a vision that will create lasting memories for our fans, partners and everyone affiliated with the organization,” Stewart said. “The work the Club accomplished in the offseason has been remarkable and a tangible example of the upward trajectory of the Club. I look forward to working with club leadership to build on this momentum as we look toward the future of the organization.”

Stewart spent the last decade with the Houston Astros, most recently as the vice president of corporate partnerships and special events. In that role, he led high-performing teams consistently driving double-digit revenue growth year-over-year. He personally secured long-term, high-impact agreements with multiple Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies throughout his tenure. One of his final initiatives was securing a seven-year jersey sleeve partnership announced just last month.

Stewart spent nearly five years with Six Flags Fiesta Texas prior to joining the Astros in 2013, serving as the director of corporate alliances for the Texas markets. With a variety of positions across minor league baseball teams at the beginning of his career, Stewart brings more than two decades of sports experience to his new role.

The Moraga, Calif. native graduated from California State University at Chico with a BA in sociology. Stewart currently serves as board member of the JDRF Southern Texas chapter, a position he has held since 2017.

Stewart joins the Club this week ahead of the first opening of newly-renovated Shell Energy Stadium on March 18 when Houston Dynamo FC will face Austin FC. Dash fans will have their first opportunity to watch the team on March 26 for the home opener against Racing Louisville. Season ticket memberships, corporate hospitality packages, group experiences and single-match tickets for both teams are available now. More information is available at www.HoustonDynamo.com/Tickets.
