Houston Dynamo forward Mac Steeves underwent successful bilateral hip arthroscopic surgery recently and is expected to miss the remainder of the season. The procedure was done to repair a hip injury suffered in late May.

Steeves, 23, appeared in three games for the Dynamo as a rookie this season. He also saw action in two games with Rio Grande Valley FC, Houston’s hybrid affiliate in the USL. Steeves was Houston’s second-round pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft out of Providence College. He scored 35 goals and had 12 assists in 73 career games for the Friars before turning pro.
