Media accreditation process for the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup is now open

HOUSTON (Wednesday, January 10, 2024) - The accreditation process for media representatives wishing to cover the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup at Shell Energy Stadium is now open via the Concacaf Media Hub. The deadline to apply for a 2024 W Gold Cup media accreditation is Wednesday, February 7, at 5:00 pm CT.

Shell Energy Stadium was the only venue selected to host 2024 W Gold Cup matches outside of Southern California. The Canadian Women’s National team, Costa Rican Women’s National Team, Paraguayan Women’s National Team and winner of the El Salvador-Guatemala preliminary match are set to play in the Space City in February.

The inaugural edition of the region's new flagship competition for women's national teams will be played between February 17 – March 10, 2024, across four venues in three US metropolitan areas and includes the participation of Concacaf's and CONMEBOL's 15 best women's national teams and some of the world's top players. Further tournament details are available here

Media representatives should consider the following before applying:

  • The accreditation process for written media, photographers, and TV/radio non-rights holders will be managed exclusively through the Media Hub and includes three steps.
  • When creating a Media Hub profile, all media representatives must attach a copy of their media organization ID (if available) or proof of media coverage from relevant sports or previous Concacaf events.
  • Media representatives who apply for a Media Hub profile using a generic e-mail account (Gmail, Hotmail, etc.) and who do not attach a media organization ID or proof of coverage will be automatically declined.
  • Approval for the Media Hub does not mean you have been granted a media accreditation card for the tournament.
  • Approval of a tournament media accreditation card does not mean you have been granted access to all matches.
  • The Media Ticketing window closes at 6:00 pm CT, a day before each match

Step 1: Register in the Concacaf Media Hub

Media representatives must have an approved Media Hub profile before being able to apply for a tournament media accreditation card. The online registration form for the Media Hub can be foundhere (media.concacaf.com). The review process may take up to 5 business days.

Step 2: Apply for a tournament media accreditation card

Media representatives with an approved Media Hub profile can navigate to the tournament's Accreditation Page and submit a media accreditation card application.
