• Moved the Dynamo’s record on the season to 10-8-7 overall and 1-8-4 on the road.
• Ended the Dynamo’s six-game unbeaten streak and three-game road unbeaten streak.
• Moved the Dynamo’s all-time record against Vancouver to 4-6-2 overall and 0-6-1 at Vancouver.

• Houston saw its season-long shutout streak end at 244 minutes when Vancouver FW Fredy Montero scored on a penalty kick in the 17th minute. Prior to that penalty, the last goal the Dynamo had allowed came in the 43rd minute against Portland on July 29.
• The Dynamo outshot Vancouver, 14-10. It marked the 15th time this season that the Dynamo had more shots than their opponents, and they fell to 8-4-3 in those games.
• The Dynamo controlled the majority of possession in the game, holding the ball for 55 percent of the night. It was the fifth time this season that the Dynamo had more possession than their opponent, and they fell to 0-4-1 in those games.

• FW Mauro Manotas dished his fifth assist of the season when he set up FW Romell Quioto’s goal in the 51st minute.
• Manotas made his 19th start of the season and the 29th of his career tonight.
• MF Alex created a game-high four chances and led the team in touches (80) and pass attempts (59).
• Alex returned to the Starting XI after missing last weekend’s game vs. San Jose after he received two yellow cards against Real Salt Lake on August 5.
• DF DaMarcus Beasley made his 17th start of the season and the 167th of his career tonight.
• MF Juan David Cabezas led the team in passing, completing 91.3 percent of his 46 pass attempts on the night.
