  • Houston saw its season-long shutout streak end at 244 minutes when Vancouver FW Fredy Montero scored on a penalty kick in the 17th minute. Prior to that penalty, the last goal the Dynamo had allowed came in the 43rd minute against Portland on July 29.
  • The Dynamo outshot Vancouver, 14-10. It marked the 15th time this season that the Dynamo had more shots than their opponents, and they fell to 8-4-3 in those games.

  • Manotas made his 19th start of the season and the 29th of his career tonight.
  • MF Alex created a game-high four chances and led the team in touches (80) and pass attempts (59).
  • Alex returned to the Starting XI after missing last weekend’s game vs. San Jose after he received two yellow cards against Real Salt Lake on August 5.
