Alberth Elis voted No. 12 in MLS' annual 24 Under 24 list

Houston Dynamo and Honduras national team forward Alberth Elis was voted as No. 12 in MLSsoccer.com's annual 24 Under 24 rankings. The list rates MLS players under the age of 24 among the following criteria: Technical, Soccer IQ, Physical Attributes, Personality, and and Potential. The final list is determined by top soccer media members and MLSsoccer.com editorial staff (full list of voting members and criteria).


Elis, 21, is in his first season with the Dynamo on loan from Liga MX side Monterrey. The winger has lit up the league with seven goals this season, and is instantly recognizable with his La Panterita celebration. He has also contributed four assists in his 22 appearances (15 starts, 1354 minutes).


Said one MLS technical staffer: "“He’s a beast. Pace, power — he’s built for MLS, built for Houston’s system."
