Houston Dynamo announce 2021 preseason schedule

Houston Dynamo FC will begin preparations for its 16th season in Major League Soccer on March 1 at Houston Sports Park, the Club announced today.

This will be the second training camp under head coach Tab Ramos, who was appointed as the Club’s fourth full-time head coach in November 2019. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and related health and safety protocols, the Dynamo will remain in Texas for preseason.

The team will return to Houston Sports Park on March 1 following a week-long voluntary quarantine that began on Feb. 22 and a return to the MLS PCR testing cadence. MLS announced on Feb. 13 that players could begin their seven-day quarantine period prior to March 1 on a voluntary basis. As a result, players may engage in group training following the seven-day quarantine period provided that each player has conducted medical exams and testing. The Dynamo plan to play a total of seven preseason matches and will announce the three additional fixtures in the coming days.
