Houston Dynamo FC acquire $125,000 in General Allocation Money from Minnesota United

Houston Dynamo FC acquired $125,000 in General Allocation Money from Minnesota United for the right of first refusal to forward Niko Hansen. The Dynamo would receive $50,000 in General Allocation Money in 2021 and $75,000 in 2022.  
 

Houston acquired Hansen from Columbus Crew SC for $75,000 in Targeted Allocation Money on Aug. 8, 2019. The forward scored two goals and tallied an assist in 21 appearances for Houston.  
 

Hansen was selected as the ninth overall pick by Columbus in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft after four seasons at the University of New Mexico. The forward finished with 79 appearances (65 starts), 28 goals and 14 assists while earning All-Conference USA honors twice for the Lobos.  
 

TRANSACTION: Houston Dynamo FC acquired $125,000 in General Allocation Money from Minnesota United for the right of first refusal to forward Niko Hansen. Houston will receive $50,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM) in 2021 and $75,000 in GAM in 2022.
