HOUSTON (Oct. 29, 2026) – Houston Dynamo FC goalkeeper Jonathan Bond and defender Lucas Halter were named to the MLSSoccer.com Team of the Matchday for Matchday 33, the league announced today. The honor marks both players’ second selection of the season.
The Dynamo recorded an important road victory on Wednesday night, earning three points in a 1-0 win over Seattle Sounders FC.  Houston recorded their 13th clean sheet of the season, tying the Club’s single-season record (2007 and 2023), while the win moves the Dynamo into the top four in the MLS Western Conference table, even with St. Louis in third and just three points out of second place.
With the result, Bond also recorded his 12th clean sheet of the season, tying Tally Hall (2012) and Steve Clark’s (2023) single-season Club records. The Dynamo shot stopper recorded six saves on the evening, including key saves in the dying moments of the shutout victory.
Houston broke through in the 26th minute, as Halter guided a crossed ball in the box into the back of the net following a corner kick delivery from attacker Mateusz Bogusz. The Brazilian’s goal for the Dynamo marked the 1,552nd of this MLS season, tying the all-time single-season record, while Bogusz recorded his fifth assist of the season on the play.
The Dynamo continue their two-match road trip this weekend, facing off against the Portland Timbers on Sunday, Nov. 1. Fans can follow both matches live via MLS on Apple TV.
The team will then wrap up regular season play with a crucial Decision Day contest on Saturday, Nov. 7, versus St. Louis CITY SC at Shell Energy Stadium.
