Houston Dynamo FC completed the transfer of forward Christian Ramirez to Aberdeen Football Club in Scotland, the Club announced today.

The Dynamo acquired Ramirez in a trade with Los Angeles Football Club on Aug. 7, 2019. The forward finished with eight goals and three assists in 31 appearances for the Dynamo. In 2021, Ramirez has appeared in six games and scored one goal against the Colorado Rapids on May 15th.
The Los Angeles native has played for three clubs in MLS, beginning with Minnesota United FC from 2017-2018. The forward was traded to LAFC midway through the 2018 season. Ramirez has scored 35 goals in MLS and made his 100th league appearance earlier this year in Houston’s 2-1 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes on April 16.

“We’d like to thank Christian for his contributions to the club, both on and off the field since joining us in 2019. We wish him well with this next step in his career and all the best moving forward,” said Senior Vice President and General Manager Matt Jordan.
