The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) announced that goalkeeper Jane Campbell and forwardsChristen Press and Nichelle Prince will be allocated to the Houston Dash for the 2018 NWSL season.

U.S. Soccer and Canada Soccer have allocated players to NWSL teams since the league’s inaugural season in 2013. Allocated players are paid by their respective national federation and do not count against the league salary cap. Allocations are evaluated at the end of the NWSL season and changes are announced prior to the beginning of the following season.

Campbell became an allocated player from U.S. Soccer for the first time after she finished her rookie season in Houston with three shutouts and 65 saves over 16 games, the most since the club’s inaugural season. The goalkeeper earned her first senior cap with the USWNT on April 9, 2017 at BBVA Compass Stadium as the USWNT defeated Russia 5-1. The 22-year-old earned her second cap in the USWNT’s 6-0 victory over South Korea last October as a second-half substitute.

Press, 29, has made 96 appearances and scored 44 goals, since earning her first cap for the USWNT in 2013. The forward has an average of a goal every 2.2 games. She added four goals in 2017 at the international level, most recently in a 6-0 win over South Korea on Oct. 22. Press was acquired in a trade from the Chicago Red Stars on Jan. 19. Press, Campbell and the USWNT will compete in the SheBelieves Cup in early March and are expected to join the Dash following that tournament.

Prince finished with three goals and one assist in her rookie season for the Dash a year ago. The 22-year-old has scored six goals and tallied four assists in 32 appearances since making her debut with the senior CanWNT in 2013 at the age of 17. She will join Agnew on the CanWNT roster for the 2018 Algarve Cup later this month and will rejoin the Dash after the tournament.

Campbell, Press and Prince will return to Houston in March prior to Houston’s fifth season in the National Women’s Soccer League. Season tickets are available for the 2018 NWSL Season, starting at just $192. For additional information, visit HoustonDashSoccer.com/2018
