The Houston Dynamo defeated the Philadelphia Union, 1-0, on Saturday at PPL Park. In addition to an important landmark for head coach Dominic Kinnear, here are the milestones from Saturday’s road win:
- It was Dominic Kinnear’s 125th career win as an MLS head coach to pass Bob Bradley for third on the MLS all-time wins chart. Kinnear is in his 10th year as head coach between Houston and San Jose and is the seventh-longest tenured head coach in American professional sports. Kinnear only trails Sigi Schmid (187 wins) and Bruce Arena (157 wins) on the league’s all-time wins list.

Other milestones:
- Ricardo Clark scored the winning goal on Saturday, a second-half header from a Brad Davis free kick. It was Clark’s third goal of the season, matching a career-high, set in 2005 and 2003.
- The assist was Davis' 99th career regular season assist. He is two assists shy of tying Marco Ethcheverry for sixth of Major League Soccer’s all-time assist list.
- It was Davis’ 307th career MLS game. He passed Cobi Jones, the all-time leader in appearances for the U.S. men's national team, and is now tied with current New York Red Bulls head coach Mike Petke for 18th on MLS’ all-time games list.
- It was also Clark’s 127th regular season start with the Dynamo to tie Brian Mullan for fifth on the franchise list. Clark trails Corey Ashe (129 starts) and Pat Onstad (136) for his closest targets on the list.
- Clark (14,745 minutes in all competitions with the Dynamo) also surpassed Mullan (14,705) for sixth on the club’s minutes list. Clark’s next target is Brian Ching (14,970 minutes).
- It was Tally Hall’s 126th game in all competitions with the Dynamo to tie Andre Hainault for 11th on the franchise list.
- It was also Hall’s 100th career regular season start to tie Geoff Cameron and Hainault for eighth on the club chart.
- Jermaine Taylor played 90 minutes to surpass 5,000 career regular season minutes with Houston.
