Dates and times for the Houston Dynamo's quarterfinal series against Tigres UANL in the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League have been confirmed, Concacaf announced today.

Houston will host Tigres at BBVA Compass Stadium in the first leg of the series on Tuesday, March 5 at 9 p.m. CT. The Dynamo will travel to Nueva Leon for the second leg at Estadio Universitario on Tuesday, March 12. Kickoff for that match is scheduled for 10 p.m. CT.

Fans will be able to follow all the action through the Confederation’s partner networks, including Univision Deportes (United States), Yahoo Sports (United States), Fox Sports Latin America (Mexico & Central America), Flow Sports (Caribbean) and other local partners. Exact broadcast details will be available in the coming days.

The quarterfinals are a two-legged aggregate score series, with the team with the most goals advancing to face the winner of the series between New York Red Bulls and Santos Laguna. If the teams are tied on aggregate score, the team with the most away goals advances. If that is also tied after the two legs, the teams will go straight to a penalty shootout.

The Dynamo advanced by virtue of a 3-1 aggregate win over CD Guastatoya of Guatemala in the Round of 16. DaMarcus Beasley scored a late winning goal for the Dynamo in Guatemala City, then Mauro Manotas came off the bench to score twice in the home leg to punch the team's ticket to the next round. Tigres overturned a 1-0 first leg defeat to Saprissa of Costa Rica with a dominating 5-1 win at home at El Volcán, highlighted by a hat-trick performance by Enner Valencia.

While the Dynamo have a rich history of competing against Mexican clubs in Champions League, SuperLiga and the Dynamo Charities Cup, this will be the first matchup between Houston and Tigres. This will not be Tigres' first trip to BBVA Compass Stadium, however, as they have played a number of friendlies in the Bayou City, most recently against Pumas on Nov. 17, 2018.
