Dynamo & Dash Charities is proud to support local nonprofit organizations that share our mission of driving meaningful impact through the power of soccer. Rooted in service and fueled by community spirit, we are committed to uplifting individuals and neighborhoods across the Greater Houston area.

With the passion of our players, staff, and fans, we aim to deliver resources, education, and support that create lasting, positive change. Our work is focused through five key pillars:

  • Youth Development through Soccer and Education – Empowering the next generation through access to the game, academic support, and personal growth opportunities.
  • Food Insecurity – Supporting programs that fight hunger and increase access to nutritious meals for individuals and families in need.
  • Military & Veteran Support – Honoring those who serve by supporting programs that benefit active-duty military members, veterans, and their families.
  • Cancer Support & Awareness – Partnering with organizations that provide care, raise awareness, and support those affected by cancer.
  • Sustainability – Promoting environmental responsibility and initiatives that protect and preserve our community for future generations.

If your organization’s mission aligns with our pillars, we encourage you to apply for a Dynamo & Dash Charities grant. The application window is open from August 1 to August 31. Together, we can build a stronger, more sustainable Houston—one goal, one game, one community at a time.

Requirements

  • Provide resources or opportunities for underserved individuals or groups
  • Serve those located in Houston and the greater Houston community
  • Primary focus on one of our five core pillars (each, a “Pillar”):
  • Youth Development through education and Soccer
  • Food insecurity
  • Military and veteran support
  • Cancer support and awareness
  • Sustainability powered by Shell Energy

Timeline

August 1, 2025: Application released

August 31, 2025: Final day to submit applications (11:59 pm CT)

September 2025: Applications reviewed by Board and committee members

September 15, 2025: Winners announced via email

October 1, 2024: Grantees recognized at Boots and Suits Celebration

April 10, 2026: Grantee documentation due

GRANT APPLICATION

Please complete the following questions and submit the information in Word or PDF format, along with the applicable supporting documentation via email to Charities@houstondynamo.com. The subject line of the email should read as follows: “2025 Dynamo and Dash Charities Grant Application (Pillar in which you applying for)”.

Please include the following items with your submission:

  • IRS Determination Letter
  • List of Board of Directors and company affiliation
  • Number of staff members
  • Copy of last annual report (if applicable)
  • Three (3) to five (5) images of the program/project that the funds will support

GRANTEE DOCUMENTATION

Each organization awarded a grant will be required to submit the following documentation no later than April 10, 2026. If an organization fails to submit such information, it will not be considered for future grant opportunities. All information must be submitted via email to Charities@houstondynamo.com.

  2. What are the plans to further the program/project after the current date?
  3. What are the accomplishments of the funds?
  4. Please send photos, other media content (if applicable) and any stories along with your documentation.
