The Rio Grande Valley FC Toros return to H-E-B Park on Saturday to host New Mexico United in their first visit to South Texas.

RGV FC will look for their first victory of the season on Saturday after they fell 2-1 to the Tulsa Roughnecks last Friday in Oklahoma. Toros forward Nico Lemoine scored his first professional goal last Friday to spark a second-half push in Oklahoma that fell short.

Isidirio Martinez (pictured, above) found the Dynamo Academy product unmarked outside the six yard box for his second assist of the season. Martinez now leads the team in assists with two after back-to-back games with key crosses in the final 20 minutes.

New Mexico enter the match unbeaten and with two victories out of their last three games. United defeated Tacoma Defiance FC last Friday 2-1 at Isotopes Park after Ryan Williams equalized in the first half and Kevaughn Frater scored his third goal of the season. Forward Santi Moar leads the team with four goals after he scored in three consecutive games prior to their victory over Tacoma.

Defensively, United will look to Cody Mizell to limit the Toros offense. The New Mexico goalkeeper has the third most saves in the league this season with 19, but Mizell has yet to keep a clean sheet. New Mexico currently sit in second place in the USL Championship Western Conference Standings.

Five Houston Dynamo players will join RGV FC on loan for the weekend. The match will be streamed live on ESPN+ beginning at 7:30 p.m. CT and tickets are still available for the match. For tickets and additional information, visit RGVFC.com
