“It was good to see the boys perform at such a high-level over the weekend in San Antonio. Yes, there was a lot of goals, but even more impressive was the intent and quality of our overall play,” Dynamo Academy Director Paul Holocher said. “There were many sequences of strong possession, building-up from the back, good decision-making and dynamic individual actions that really were a great reflection of our game model.”
Earlier in the week, the Dynamo Academy earned a two-game sweep against Dynamo Unidos at Houston Sports Park.
Osagie Akhigbe, Jaidyn Contreras, Ryan Sterling and Cooper Yi scored for the Dynamo U-14 side that faced heavy pressure at the beginning of the match. The U-14 Dynamo Academy team opened the two-game series with a 4-0 victory over Dynamo Unidos at Houston Sports Park last Tuesday.
