032321 Academy Signing

Miles Mukherjea-Gehrig joins the Houston Dynamo Academy from the Albion Soccer Club.

“We are very excited to have Miles join the Academy and our Dynamo family.  Miles joins us from Albion Soccer Club in San Diego, a club that has done an outstanding job of not only developing young players, but also actively supporting their dreams,” Dynamo Academy Director Paul Holocher said. “Miles is motivated to play at the professional levels and we are looking forward to supporting those efforts.”

The forward scored 75 goals from 2017-2019 in the U13-U-15 category in the U.S. Soccer’s Development Academy and has had training experiences through Albion’s Pro Pathway program with various clubs including Borussia Monchengladbach in Germany.

“We are excited to continue to develop Pro Pathway Players, having developed Ari Lassiter to the First Team at Houston and to now have Miles join what has been a great professional placement option and relationship here with Houston,” Noah Gins, Chief Executive Officer of Albion Soccer Club said. “We are very proud of Miles, his family and the coaches that have developed him along the way. We now hope this step will lead to opportunity to sign professionally in the years to come.”

Mukherjea-Gehrig is the third member of the Albion Soccer Club to join Houston Dynamo FC, which also includes current first team forward, Ari Lassiter, and Dynamo Academy player Jacob Grossman.

The 16-year-old will join the Dynamo Academy’s Pre-Professional Phase which includes the U-17 and U-19 age groups.
