What level of players will I be working with?
Players attending our camps, clinics, and training programs include beginners playing at the recreational level, intermediate and advanced players at the club and elite level.
What types of employment options are available?
Lead Coach: – required to be available 4-7 days a week or 20 - 30 hours a week
Coach: – required to be available 2-3 days a week or 5-20 hours a week
What exactly will my job entail?
Coaches will provide quality, supplemental training to players, attend mandatory staff training and coach education, and complete player evaluations/admin tasks as assigned.
What does the selection and interview process entail?
Interested candidates should apply online as positions become available. Based on review of your online application, an interview will be scheduled. Candidates that are successful in the interview stage will be invited to onboarding and training sessions.
Is visa sponsorship available for these coaching positions?
No, visa sponsorship is not provided for coaching with Houston Dash and Dynamo Youth Department.
What is the compensation structure?
Compensation rates vary based upon experience and coaching qualifications (USSF, United Soccer Coaches or foreign equivalent).
Do I need a driver's license and my own vehicle?
All coaches are required to have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Will I receive a coaching uniform and equipment?
All coaches will receive an official Houston Dash and Dynamo coaching uniform and coaching equipment to deliver coaching sessions.
Will I get the opportunity to take coaching courses?
In addition to our ongoing coach education program, all hired coaches will have the opportunity to take coaching courses during off-peak seasons. Course fees are covered by Houston Dash and Dynamo Youth Department.
Will I be able to get involved with the HDFC First Team, Dynamo 2 or Dynamo Academy?
Houston Dash and Dynamo Youth staff will have the chance to observe HDFC First Team practices and attend coach education workshops with guest presenters from our professional teams and academy.
