Are camps open to males and females?
Yes, all Houston Dash and Dynamo soccer camps are open to males and females unless noted otherwise in a specific camp listing.
How do I register?
This website lists the specific camps currently offered and selects the location and type of camp in which you are interested.
Is age based on birth year or the date of the camp?
Camp age is based on birth year, not age at the time of the camp.
Are there walk-up registrations?
No. To provide the best experience for everyone involved, camp registration will close no later than 4 business days before camp.
How are players grouped at camp?
Players are grouped by age and level of play. If you would like your child to be in a certain group, please contact Cameron Alonso (calonso@houstondynamo.com) in advance of the camp and we will do our best to accommodate the request.
Can my child be in a group with his or her friends?
If you want your child to be grouped with their friends, please voice that request to a camp staff member, and we will do our best to accommodate the player.
What is included with the camp registration?
Registration includes a Houston Dash and Dynamo camp t-shirt, a HDFC ball, and one free ticket to Houston Dash or Dynamo Home game.
What is the Season Ticket Member discount?
In appreciation for our Season Ticket Members, a _% discount on our Camps is available.
What should campers bring?
Each day of camp, every camper should come prepared with appropriate soccer clothing, water bottle, sunscreen, and a light snack.
What clothing/items should my child wear/bring to camp?
Each camper should wear soccer/athletic clothing, and soccer cleats (indoor & outdoor). Please note the “themed” days (i.e. favorite jersey day, orange and blue day, crazy sock day)
What happens in case of injury or illness?
If a player is injured or becomes ill while playing, there will be qualified sports medicine personnel on-site to attend to the player. In case of a serious injury, the parent will be notified immediately. Please do not send your child to camp if they are injured or ill.
What is the Refund Policy?
Full tuition is due with registration. Cancellations more than 30 days prior to the start date of the session will result in a full refund less an administration fee of $50. Cancellations within 30 days prior to the start date of the session result in forfeiture of full tuition.
What is the cancellation policy?
Every attempt will be made to fulfill the specified number of hours of a specific camp and make-up sessions will be offered where possible. These make-up sessions may be at different times and locations than the advertised option. However, if sessions should be missed due to inclement weather or circumstances outside the control of HDFC, no refund or other form of compensation will be offered.
What is the weather policy?
Camps will take place rain or shine. Only in the event of lightning or extreme heat will we postpone/cancel a session or bring campers into shelter.
How do I redeem my free ticket to a Houston Dash or Dynamo home match?
After registering, you will receive an email with more details about your camp and the process for redeeming one free ticket to Houston Dash or Dynamo Home game. Family and friends will have the option to purchase additional discounted tickets at the time of redemption.
