Houston Dynamo FC announced today that the team’s home preseason match against in-state rival Austin FC will be open to fans. The match will be Houston’s only match at PNC Stadium this preseason. Kickoff for the game is set for 6 p.m. CST.

Houston Dynamo 365 Season Ticket Members will automatically receive their seats for free for the match. Tickets for the general public will go on sale Wednesday, Jan. 26 along with tickets to all regular season home matches.

Prices for the preseason friendly begin as low as $10 and tickets are available on the Club's website and via SeatGeek.com.

The contest will mark the PNC Stadium debut for first-year head coach Paulo Nagamura and newly-signed

Dynamo designated player Sebastián Ferreira, along with goalkeeper Steve Clark, MLS SuperDraft selection Thor Ulfarsson and several more Dynamo newcomers.

This match will also mark the first event at PNC Stadium to feature the new Safe Standing section for the Hustle Town Supporters on the north end of the stadium. The safe standing section includes newly-installed handrails on each row that allow active supporters to stand throughout the match and sing, jump and move in a safe environment. The renovation was made by the Club this offseason based on feedback from the Hustle Town Supporters leadership council on ways to improve the supporters section at PNC Stadium.

Due to ongoing construction of the new Sports Deck and Pitch Zone on the south end of PNC Stadium, a small number of Dynamo 365 Members may be relocated to new seats for this game only. Those individuals whose seats are affected by temporary construction closures will be contacted directly by their Member Services Representative.

The match will also be live streamed for fans in the Greater Houston area at HoustonDynamoFC.com/Live.

The Dynamo play their first preseason scrimmage of the year this Saturday when they play Houston Dynamo 2 at Houston Sports Park. Due to space limitations, the scrimmage will not be open to the general public.

Following the scrimmage with Dynamo Dos, the Dynamo head to Arizona for a week where they will face Real Salt Lake on Feb. 2 and the Colorado Rapids on Feb. 5. The team will split into two squads for a pair of matches on Tuesday, Feb. 8 when they take on USL Championship sides El Paso Locomotive and Phoenix Rising FC.

Houston kicks off their final stretch of the preseason against Austin before traveling to the Capitol City to square off against Toronto FC at Austin FC’s training facility on Wednesday, Feb. 16. The Dynamo conclude their preseason on Saturday, Feb. 19 at FC Dallas before returning home to begin final preparations for the regular season opener with Real Salt Lake on Sunday, Feb. 27.
