Brian Ching is one of the most accomplished and influential players in Houston Dynamo FC history. A native of Haleiwa, Hawaii, the forward spent eight seasons with the Dynamo and helped lead the Club to back-to-back MLS Cup championships in 2006 and 2007, earning MLS Cup MVP honors in the inaugural title victory, as well as two additional MLS Cup Final appearances in 2011 and 2012. Ching remains the Dynamo’s all-time leading scorer with 56 regular-season goals and 69 goals across all competitions and was a six-time MLS All-Star, the 2004 MLS Golden Boot winner, MLS Comeback Player of the Year and an MLS Best XI selection.

Internationally, he earned 45 appearances and scored 11 goals for the U.S. Men’s National Team, representing the United States at the 2006 FIFA World Cup and helping capture the 2007 Concacaf Gold Cup. Following his retirement in 2013, Ching helped launch the Houston Dash as the club’s first managing director, overseeing the franchise’s business and technical operations during its first five seasons. He has remained deeply connected to Houston through his business and charitable endeavors, continuing a legacy that led to his selection as the inaugural inductee into the Houston Dynamo Ring of Honor.
